Privacy.

Fire Horse Press keeps this simple. Here is what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Effective October 4, 2026.

What we collect

If you give us your name and email address, for example to be notified of new releases or to receive a letter, we keep those two things and the date you signed up.

Our pages are hosted by Kit, which records ordinary visit data (pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, browser type) and uses a cookie to run its forms and to count visits. We do not run advertising trackers or sell anything on this site.

If you download the free opening of a book, that download is delivered by BookFunnel, which counts downloads. It does not ask for your email unless the page says so, and ours do not.

If you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon may record that the visit came from our site. That lets us see which of our pages lead to book sales. Amazon does not tell us who you are.

What we do with it

We use your email address to send what you asked for and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or trade email addresses, and we do not send on behalf of anyone else.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from that list at once. If you want everything about you deleted, write to the address below and we will do it.

Who else handles your information

Kit (kit.com) hosts our pages and sends our email. BookFunnel (bookfunnel.com) delivers free excerpts. Amazon (amazon.com) sells the books and reports whether a visit from our site led to a purchase. Each has its own privacy policy, and each processes data in the United States.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. You can decline cookies in your browser; the site still works without them, though a form may not submit.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact
